BUTTON BROOK FARM
Raising colored angora goats and Nubian/Boer crosses
York County, PA
Meet our mixed-breed goats:
All are friendly and willing to taste your clothing while you are petting them. Our goats are very well socialized, and very happy to greet anyone coming to visit. Of course, that could just be because they are hoping for a little treat...

Two of the bucklings born in 2017

Bubba, the biggest buckling born in 2017. He is almost as big as his mother at 5 months old.

Snow White was born in 2012, and as one of our younger goats, is still working out where she fits in the herd dynamics.

Who says goats can't make faces?

Butterscotch is a daughter of Snowflake, and is super friendly. She even gives kisses!

Little Red is our newest addition. We purchased her from another farm, to add more Boer to our herd. She is settling in nicely with this year's doelings.

Sierra is jumping on top of her mother's back.

When not trying to eat everything in sight, goats are quite inquisitive.
Our goats live the country life, grazing and being fed grain supplement. Occasionally we request their presence at a 4H show or project. Usually they comply pretty easily, as they are curious by nature. However, they are also natural escape artists, and if there is a way out they will find it (even if you thought you had it blocked off!)
